Boyce Smith Boyce
was born and raised in Birmingham Alabama and graduated from Banks High School.
After 2 years of college he entered the working world and today makes a living
in sales. In 1974 he met his wife Debra who is also from Birmingham and
they were married in 1978. Boyce
& Debra live in Trussville, Alabama with their two children Travis and
Carrie who are both in college. In 1990 Boyce and his wife founded the
Southeastern Youth Camp, an
interdenominational youth camp for ages 9
thru adult. ‘We began with 25 kids and today we host nearly 700 on two
campgrounds. There is usually a waiting list as the camps are limited by fire
codes and by the number of beds at each campground. The camp has become
our favorite week of the year. Our youth are our future and we are
grateful to have the opportunity to share in the lives of a few of them each
year”. Boyce also enjoys singing
and traveling with his Christian/Patriot band, “Homeland”.
